Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

The Opportunity

Seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team in Basildon supporting the delivery of exciting civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the South East.

Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, with genuine opportunities for training, development, and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circle Support the commercial management of infrastructure projects.
  • check_circle Assist with subcontract procurement and account management.
  • check_circle Prepare valuations, cost reports, and payment applications.
  • check_circle Manage variations and commercial records.
  • check_circle Work closely with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

About You

  • check_circle Experience as an Assistant or Graduate Quantity Surveyor within construction or civil engineering.
  • check_circle Degree, HNC, or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • check_circle Knowledge of NEC contracts is desirable.
  • check_circle Strong communication, organisation, and commercial awareness.
  • check_circle Full UK driving licence.
