Estimator – Drylining & Facades

The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established and growing drylining and façade contractor delivering high-quality packages across residential, commercial, mixed-use and major construction developments throughout London.
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to strengthen the pre-construction team and support the successful tendering and securing of new work.

The Role
As Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of drylining and façade projects. Working closely with commercial and operational teams, you will manage the estimating process from enquiry through to submission and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong sector knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to the growth of an ambitious specialist contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circle Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for drylining and façade packages.
  • check_circle Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
  • check_circle Complete quantity take-offs and pricing exercises.
  • check_circle Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
  • check_circle Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.
  • check_circle Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams during bid stages.
  • check_circle Support bid presentations and pre-construction meetings.
  • check_circle Maintain estimating records and contribute to continuous improvement of pricing processes.
  • check_circle Assist with project handover to delivery and commercial teams.

About You

  • check_circle Proven experience as an Estimator within drylining, facades, interiors or specialist subcontracting.
  • check_circle Strong understanding of drylining systems, façade construction methods and market pricing.
  • check_circle Experience pricing projects within the London construction market.
  • check_circle Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical information.
  • check_circle Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail.
  • check_circle Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
  • check_circle Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • check_circle Desirable Experience:
  • check_circle Experience pricing projects across residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
  • check_circle Knowledge of SFS, rainscreen cladding, partitions, ceilings and internal fit-out packages.
  • check_circle Exposure to negotiated tenders and two-stage procurement routes.
